Question Side mirror help

I just bought a '95 Del Sol S off of ebay, and when it showed up, it was missing both side mirrors. There are brackets on each side, and I don't think they look like they would fit the original factory mirrors, but I haven't recieved my repair manual in the mail yet so I have no clue. The previous owner was in the middle of doing a lot of other mods, so I'm wondering if perhaps there are some special type of mirrors he was possibly planning on installing, but I can't get ahold of him to find out.

Re: Side mirror help

let this be a lesson about buying modded cars. :P

Those look like they're for aftermarket mirrors, like these:

I have a feeling if you sand the car down, you'll find the original mounting spots. So you have a choice... you can just put on another set of aftermarket mirrors like the ones pictured, or you can sand and find the original mounting points for OEM mirrors and pick up a set. My friend Kelly's selling a set or ERM ones on his website... www.knology.net/~jediklc
