Big Balls

ok, you know the big balls that some people use at the gym instead of a bench? Well, i asked some dude about it and he said it's great because you use different muscles to stabilze yourself while lifting and work your abs too.

I always thought the balls were pretty gay, but I tried it out and WOW. I'm totally sold. It really makes lifting lighter weights much harder and your abs are BURNING after a few minutes.

If you haven't tried them out, I recommend them. However, when doing stuff with heavy weights (like dumbell presses) it is REALLY hard to get the weights up.

I love big balls, matter of fact i take the biggest ball they have and do cable flyes with them, its perfect because you can put yourself at any angle you want. So I agree, big balls are great! I lay on big balls when I work out and you should too!

im sure the balls that i use for my excerise are bigger than yours, and hell yeh they burn you up

yeah i've tried big balls, they are so much more satisfying than the small ones. plus when you're "working out" it feels better on big balls than bent over a bench. hahaha

ok all jokes aside, i had a ball, they are called swiss balls i believe, and it's great, you can do so many workouts on them. they're great if you can't afford a bench, you can do bench presses, and a whole lot more. you can work pretty much every muscle in your body.

you can get one for 10-15 bucks, but those aren't good if you're going to do some heavy weights, they can pop. if you're going to do any kind of substantial weight, you need one of the heavy duty ones that can hold up to or above 300lbs. they're more like 35$ (all these prices are in canadian dollars). i recommend one of these to anyone who isn't doing any extremely heavy weights, if you're working out your abs, back, side (not your lats, the ones at your hips) etc, they're great. plus they double up as a desk chair that can build your stabilizers while you work.
