91 Corsica

My 91' Corsica won't start, when is hot - even on the operating temperature. After 15-20 minutes, when cooles down is possible to get started. When is cold - even bellow freezing poin - is easy to get started, just need cranced longer. In summer was overheated, before I didn't have a problem. How can I fix this problem?

Re: 91 Corsica

If it cranks over OK but won't start when hot or warm it is usually the crank sensor and/or the ignition module failing. Possibly other things but these are the most common things. You can remove the module and coil assy. and have the module tested at most parts stores including NAPA, Advance, and Autozone. if OK I would replace the crank sensor. If the module is bad replace it, OK to re use old coils. Sometimes both will get weak at the same time.
