Just Bought 1997 What should I be Aware of?

I just bought my Catera and I need to take it in allready because there is a rattle coming from the front end towards the exhaust. I am going to take it in to see what needs to be done. I am told it is the "honey comb rattle". Is there anything else that needs to be taken care of at 85,000 on these cars that isn't in the manuel. I love the car and it has been really well taken care of. There isn't any major problems so far that the past owner has come across. Please send some advice my way before I go to get the service done. Also where do I find the past information on the recalls. Thank you!

Go to www.carsurvey.org for some very informative owner reviews.

Look at all the Catera reviews, not just the '97 ones. These cars did not change much so problems for other years have some relevance to yours.
There are a couple of engine issues which pop up quite often.
