Re: my new DSM
Congrats on the car, it looks nice.
A boost gauge is a good first mod, especially if you're trying to diagnose boost issues, but you could also borrow one if need be. Regarding the timing belt, do not buy the blue greddy one, even if you find it cheaper than OEM. All those kevlar whatever belts are crap, stick to the OEM timing belt, and get it done immediately. Your timing belt is WAY past due, you're lucky it hasn't snapped yet.

Re: my new DSM
The boost gauge could tell you if you'r leaking. But if you really want to know, go to Home Depot and get an air tank (~$40 IIRC), then get a pvc end cap, 2 band clamps, a bike tire valve, and a pieve of rubber tubing. I think it's explained on VFAQ.
It might not seem as fast because of the mileage. Use some Sea Foam or equivelent to get rid of all the carbon deposits in the engine. You could do a compression and a leak down test too.

I sprayed some into my cavaliers intake tube, and not as much smoke came out as I thought would....Can it be sent through the intake tube via spray, or must it be through a PVC valve/brake booster line?

Re: my new DSM
IMO stay oem on the timing belt, nothing beats having the oem one
