ok well i was just wondering how the cold weather affects the performance of Z's, by cold weather i mean like 30 and below

Turbos like cold air... now as long as the car's been warmed up so all the other stuff is good, than cold air is nice for a car...

well think about it...your car will love the cold air once warmed up. but cold starts and such are not good on a performance motor.

but nice cold air going through the radiator will help cool the coolant more keeping the engine cool. the engine sucking up cold air will also keep the engine cooler plus give you better performance. colder the air the more oxygen by volume is in the air therefore more fuel, therefore more performance.

lol me as a mod... I doubt it, I too much of a smart ass and I don't know jack compared to Jason or say LLZ/Delerious. I can't believe I haven't been banned yet.

thanks for the complements guys but i dont really know jack, i just have what i think is very little experience with working on the Z32. trust me, there is alot to learn and once you are at someone like Ashley Power's point in knowledge, thats when you know something. that guy is a idol of mine...

Next comment should be - MAN YOU CAN'T HAVE MY BUD - Its a commercial where every one pays compliments to steal one's beer. The whole point in my first POST was not to DIS a new person, it was to state what you guys just brought out - KNOWLEDGE - Many of you have given advise that has worked and I am sure helped others. Someone should not come to the forum saying that it is a stupid question because the first couple post I made I felt you guys felt was stupid but all of you had great patients and answered all questions without acting as I am incompitant - Keep posting your knowledge - It is NEEDED

Yup...this is the problem with the Z31.com boards. The majority of the people on it are complete ass holes. They know their shit so I'll venture over there if I have a tough question, but I avoid that board like the plague. It's a damn shame too cuz I used to spend a lot of time there. That board is where I got much of my Z31 knowledge. Now, no matter what you post, you just get torn down 99% of the time.

twinturbo.net also, i only post over there on rare occasion otherwise i skim through the posts and find the ones that seem good, like updates on newly designed exhaust manifolds

it feels as if you havent been posting over there and you arent a regular then you are incompetent and that you should always go with the same turbos they use, or you should go this route because they feel its better. but whatever...rant over.
