Hi all, I have an L reg mk 3 Astra saloon I bought as a winter runaround and its starting to give me problems, hopefully someone can tell me what is wrong!
The problem is it likes to cut out and chug/lose power whenever it feels like. occasionaly you can drop through the gears and pump the pedal and it comes back to life, but of late it just cuts out. It used to just chug (never cut out) when it dropped below 1/4 of a tank, but now it doesnt care where the needle is. An auto electrician mate of mine said it may be the tubo pipes? Any help appreciated, as its getting very embarassing not to mention dangerous! |
