Question '94 Gl.-freeze Plugs

Iv owned my taurus for little over a month, when i bought the car it needed a new water pump. After getting that replaced, the car had a complete oil change, and now i have another problem. I have not been driving the car because the engine keeps showing that there is NO coolant running through it. I filled the anitfreeze resevoir, but the antifreeze is not circulating. I have been told that its a popped freeze plug?? How can i get this fixed?? & how much is it going to cost me..

HELP APPRECIATED!!

Re: '94 Gl.-freeze Plugs

Did you fill the radiator, or just the overflow bottle??? Overflow bottle won't show any change if the system is not operating properly. If you had a freeze plug issue, you would have antifreeze on the ground, you didn't mention that, and probably overheat the engine quickly,, could be you just need to purge the air out of the cooling system???

Re: '94 Gl.-freeze Plugs

yes i put antifreeze in the radiator and the resevoir container. I did not realize i failed to mention there IS antifreeze on the ground when i start the car, and the engine runs hot and overheats very very quickyl. I had a mechanic look at it and it is a freeze plug (at least one that he found, maybe others popped as well) but do you have any clue to what it might run me cost wise?

Not really, to be honest I don't know where all are located.. some may be easy to get at, others not so easy,, you're gonna have to get them replaced regardless.
