some question about turbo upgrade
a buddy of mine is going to upgrade his turbo from the stock turbo to an s15 turbo. He's is going to get his stock ECU tuned and a Z32 maf sensor. The guy where he is getting his ecu tuned said he can boost about 15-18 psi. My question is what else does he need to look into upgrading? I dont think he can run that much boost on his stock sidemount intercooler. Let me know what you guys think.

you can run 12psi on a side mount, but it wont be efficeint and he wont make significant gains at normal car temp...heat soak is a bitch. if he switched to a front mount, the 12psi should be more noticable. but otherwise...nope all he needs to do is switch to a better intercooler...but that doesnt even really need to be done

oops sorry, hes upgrading to the s15 turbo, but the guy told hime he can boost 15-18 psi, sorry messed that up earlier, but i thought that was waaaay to high

oh dang...15psi isnt too bad on a s15 turbo, but yea..still like previously said...would benift getting an FMIC, and possibly some s15 injectors would help 444cc's i believe? anywho...some injectors and fmic would definatly help that setup, and you would ATLEAST need to upgrade the injectors from the 370's, becuase there efficeincy runs out around 250-270whp iirc. so you would probably want to upgrade, becuase a t28 at 15-18 psi would be near 300whp.
