spark plugs
Does anybody knows if some of the new sparkplugs of iridium or silver or others will work better in a 305 V8 Caprice?
Also I was wondering if somebody knows the stock or suggested gap for sparkplugs for this car?

Re: spark plugs
Platinum is STRICTLY for longevity. No plug will perform better than a $1 copper plug of the right heat range. This isn't to say don't use platinum it is just to say don't believe any hype claiming power.

Re: spark plugs
Thanks, but performance will raise if the proper gap is used right? I think I do not have the correct.

Re: spark plugs
Gap them to whatever the sticker on the core support says and yes gapping them is worth the effort.
