1996 Roadmaster ignition wires

Is it difficult to change the ignition wires on a 1996 Roadmaster with the 350LT1 engine? It looks like they plug into the side of the crank housing. Mechancis want at least 5 hours labor. Thanks, Gerry

Re: 1996 Roadmaster ignition wires

They plug into the optispark (distributor) on the front of the engine. Driver's side is pretty easy, but even with headers, it took me almost 3hrs to change the passenger side. They route between the AC compressor and accessory bracket.
