Exclamation Ravin Muffler question - Need help ASAP

I found a Ravin Z55 muffler in stock somewhere, but I do not know if it will fit my 99 Blazer 4x4. Here is what they are saying about offsets.

THIS IS A 2 1/4 OFFSET /OFFSET DESIGN .

Will that work for me as I can get this for 20 bucks plus shipping.

are u planning on using the stock piping? if i remember correctly u would need a muffler with an offset inlet and a center outlet.

Yes.

I have been looking around and it looks like you are correct. I had high hopes.

If you replace it yourself do yourself a favor and get a spot weld or 2 put on to hold the mufler on.

I don't have the best luck with them staying on, even if they were professionally installed without welding.

Can you share the website with us or PM me please? For $20, I'd buy it and make it fit. There is some play in the hangers.

I saw that one on Ebay too. I was told by a shop that the pipes were 2.5" in and out.

Re: Ravin Muffler question - Need help ASAP

I owned a paid of ravins for about 10 minutes, got a refund on them and the labor, worst mufflers ever, not as bad as flowmasters though.
The dont stay on, they sound like ass, and are made of very cheap metal inside.

Re: Ravin Muffler question - Need help ASAP

I have heard sound clips of the ravin z55 but I still am not satisfied with the sound clips. What is the level of sound compared to the stock blazer mufflers. Is it 2x as loud, 3x as loud, I would just like a better description of the sound. By the way where did you find it for $20?
