new steering wheel?

okay so ive been thinking of switching to an aftermarket steering wheel because the stock one is so big and bulky (btw im 6'6'') so i need all the room i can spare. but im not sure i want sacrifice comfort for an airbag!..but if any of you have switched your stock wheels out what have you gone with and how hard was it?

I really have no idea. However I would suggest you look up the airbag removal section in the factory manual since you would most definately have to pull that out to get the steering wheel off. I would think anyway. But that should give you a place to start and an idea of how it's all put together.

definitely good advice...

to answer your question, i would do some searching. there may be some aftermarket company that makes steering wheels pre loaded with air bags an you can splice in the wires or something of that nature
