Exclamation please help transmission problem

i have a 1993 cutlass ciera s and the trasmission does not change if i go slow. but if nail it to the floor and take off it changes all gears with a little slippage and a little vibration. it is an automatic transmission. i changed filter and put in new fluid already. before changing fluid and filter it would not change at anytime. any suggestions would be appreciated. thank you in advance for your help

my car wouldn't go into third no matter what i did.. i put some Lucas transmission treatment in it.. i drove 20 miles.. then let it sit for a day.... and that fixed it...

i would try this first and if you're lucky it will work

Re: please help transmission problem

Your problem relates to the vacuum modulator on the top of the transmission. It is easy to change and relatively inexpensive. Only takes a couple of hand tools and a magnet to change it out. Good Luck!
