Re: GT mods

Headers, a new ecu from www.pfyc.com, 8mm plug wires, a new fly wheel for supercharger, this is for starters.

Re: GT mods

i have the same car- 01 gt. your best bet on the gt is a good cold air intake and then a good exhaust system with a u bend delete and a high flow cat. once you get both of those, you can look into a reprogrammed pcm, like the one from digital horsepower, or a power programmer from hypertech, like the one i want! if you read about the gp's, you will find that the stock plugs, wires, and ignition coils cant be beat. msd makes some blaster coils that will work, but they are not worth it unless you have some serious mods. short of digging into the motor, these are your best mods. i also have the power control inut, pcu, from jet performance products that most people here dont think is worth the money but i got it on ebay for cheap so.....
there are several other things you can do, depending on how much you want to spend and how far you want to go. for instance, there is a throttle body spacer, high flow fuel injection, and 180 or 160 thermostats. for the money though, you cant go wrong with the cold air intake, cai, exhaust system- headers on back, and the reprogrammed pcm or programmer itself.

Re: GT mods

oh ya, be aware that the gt has a weak transmission when it comes to too much horsepower and racing...
