Replacing the engine?
I have a question. I need to replace my engine in my 99 Grand AM SE 3.3L V6 I think the enigine is, anyways. I was thinking of putting a different engine altogether but I do not know what engine would be good for my car, I do not want to replace my transmission. what engine would you recommend or should I keep this engine? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance for any advice given |

Re: Replacing the engine?
it would be a 3.4 in your 99. And that would be the only motor that would work, unless you or someone you know is a master tech and you hav $1000's to spend on the motor swap.
To use another engine would require you to replace the wiring harness and a whole slooth of other things, and its really not worth it, by the time you were done you could hav bought a trans am w/v8.
