1997 Chevy Cavalier tail lights don't work

I have a 1997 Chevy Cavalier tail lights that don't light up when you press the brake pedal. I have checked the fuses and the bulbs. It seems to be OK. What am I missing? Thank you.

There could be a split in the wire(s) on its(thier) way back.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.

I've check the wires and they look fine. Any other suggestions? thanks.

A friend at work had a similar problem with a 2002 montana, he said something about replacing a circuit board,sorry i dont know were you'ed look for that.
