Compressor Question......

ok, say I buy a testors airbrush, how will I know what compressor will hook up to it? Or does the airbrush come with different hook-ups? I am all compused, I was thinking of ordering a testor airbrush and then using it with my dads compresor(he uses air tools with it)

will this work? Thanks

Yes, your dad's compressor will work fine. You will have to buy some fittings to adapt your airline to it. If the compressor is currently equipped with quick disconnects you're all set. Use a fitting to match the current ones. I would be surprised if your dad doesn't have some extra ones floating around.
Be sure to run the airbrush through a good water separator/pressure regulator. You will just make a mess if you don't. Any water and condensation in the airlines needs to be removed so you don't blow it onto the model while painting. Make sure to drain the tank before you do any painting also. You will definitely need to reduce the line pressure thru the airbrush so a regulator is mandatory. Install it about 5 feet from the gun and you will be pretty safe.
