Can anyone tell me about this Camaro?

OK boys-you've got a girl here I need some opinions-I just "inherited" a 68 Camaro (pretty sure it's a 68).It's a total restoration project,Im debating on putting it on Ebay OR making my bro-inl-aws day by giving it to him. The body has some rust but is surprisingly not that rotted, engine is out but I was told it runs. So first question-how do I post a pic of it? I already have them saved in my pics Thanks guys!

Re: Can anyone tell me about this Camaro?

I would give it to him, it would feel a lot better giveing it to him then it would putting it on ebay, dont think youll get that much for it on there and it sucks trying to arange pickup and stuff for things like that unless they are local, witch is pretty hard to find.

Re: Can anyone tell me about this Camaro?

If you really like the car and wouldnt like to not see it again probably then give it to your bro in law for a couple of money or so.. but remember you can get alot of money just for that body alone, so its a choice of the light side vs dark..

Re: Can anyone tell me about this Camaro?

You guys are crazy! first gen camaro prices are through the roof!..go on ebay and look you cant get a first gen with a tree groing through it for under $500 and you dont even get to keep the tree! and you would probably have to replace trunk lid..floor pan..alot of body panels..without engine and trans...if i was you i would restore it..but if thats not possible ...you could get a great chunk of change...or give it to your bro-in-law..........look as some on ebay and get a feel for the market

Re: Can anyone tell me about this Camaro?

There was one around here that sold for 6 grand. The hood looked similar to yours, it was rusted pretty bad, and the radiator fell out of the front of it. It was a straight bodied true ss though, but it gives you an idea of what first gens can go for. I say maybe fix some little inexpensive things and sell it, or fix it up and have your self a really nice ride.
