Re: 96 Breeze wont start?

Do you mean you found the problem and it is the fuse under the hood for the fuel pump?

Re: 96 Breeze wont start?

Had the same problem yesterday and fixed it...I replaced the fuse, but it blew again. I disconnected the small wire at the starter, replaced the fuse and it still blew...that means a short in the wire from the fuse to the starter which takes out the fuel pump and who knows what else! I pulled apart the engine harness and found the brown wire at the corner of the cylinder head was bared and shorting against the block. If you find this problem and no wire strands are melted, just tape the wire up good and you are gold. I had to cut the bad piece out and solder in a new wire. All fixed.
