water in my engine oil?

pulled the dip stick out and there was a creamy white substance on it....water?

ya that sounds about right or coolant if u wanna go a little further pull the spark plugs out an look into the cylinders btw what engine do u have and what year model? possible blown gasket or in my case atm cracked block.

There are two possibilities here. One that you are running the car only on short trips and some condensation is building up in the crank case. This is common on short trips with cold temps. The other is that you have a bad head gasket. If you see the oil level increasing you have a leak if it is only a little white stuff that could be normal. How far do you drive the car each day? The only way to completely get the condensation to burn out is to drive more than 12 miles or one half hour on each trip.
