i have a 1996 honda civic lx 4 dr
its a 5 spd manual but anyways its makes this grinding noise under the hood and i dont know what it can come from. everytime i start up the car it will make that sound without even moving. then when i drive it will make that sound like i will shift gear...sound will come up again...then i shift....etc...is it bad? i dont know ..help? |

is it only when the clutch is pressed? what about if you push the clutch in while idling without shifting? does it do it at any time the clutch is not pressed?
