Funny thing, I was heading up I-75 in GA from I-285, and I was doing about 90mph and this silver Porsche was about 5 car lengths away, so I decided to catch up, only that he saw me coming, and he decided to gun it, by the time he decided to step on the gas, I was about to step on my brakes cause I was getting close, and then there was a growl, and then he was gone, I was now up to 105mph weaving in and out, but keeping a safe distance between cars, didn't want to scare anyone, and I was trying to be cautious also (if that makes any sense at 90+mph), when we reached a short clearing, there were 7 lanes, and we were blocked by this truck right infront of us, and a car to the side, when he guns it to like 110mph and weaves right through, unfortunately I couldn't do that, those damn things hug the road like they are on tracks. I had to brake go around the other car, when we decided to exit, I slowed down to take a curve at 60mph, he took it at like 90mph, by the time I got to the second light, which was my turn, he was at the Gas station already pumping gas!!!!!! I pulled next to him, and it was an older gentleman, dressed proper, and he saw me and started laughing, he said he saw me coming. Ouch, those damn things are fast as hell!!!!!!! and it wasn't even the turbo model............ How sad. I've got to get me a VR-4.

Oh, and this guy with an accord tried to race me, I smoked the hell out of him, he found me about 5min later when I had slowed down. But I haven't gotten a ticket for 3yrs, and I'm trying to keep it like that, I had my DL suspended for a yr and was finned heavily for speeding and traffic violations, that it costed me over $4000.00, and loosing my T-ram, and no to mention high Ins rates. So these days I stay with the flow of traffic most of the time, with the occasional bursts.

I'm not surprised... I got owned by a Carrera 2 a few years back... Felt like somethings was wrong with the laws of physics because the HP numbers just don't seem to jive with how fast that thing could get going.

Amen................. German technology doesn't make sense, but it does back up the numbers, but, vengence shall be mine........................few months, car and couple of thousands from now, but it shall happen

Well, it was for the fun of it, I think the best was my 95 T-Ram vs a 69 Camaro which was modded out like hell, he left me so bad, I thought I was going backwards, but the sound and sight were just beautiful.

Remeber that porsche has been getting 300-500hp stock out of 3.0-3.6L engine for years.

but a boxter and a 911 are two differnt creatures. One a mid engine 2 seater entry level car. The other the flagship of porsche a Rear engine rwd piece of automotive art. The turbo are even more nice with rear engine awd or the Gt2/GT3s

Uhhhh, don't bother the TT models either, My brother decided to piss off a guy driving the 911 TT, he was driving an 06 Lex GS 400, he said he got smoked so bad, he was embarrased.
He came flying down at 130mph, and when he was less than 3 car lengths away, the guy stuck his thumb out, then decided to gun it, all he managed was to reach the driver side door, the next thing he knew, he was 6-8 car lengths behind, then the porche was gone....................... Yup, those damn things can fly, as for the Boxter, really not impressed that much, a VR-4 will kill that easy.

A 944... be a real man, go up against a 951 AKA a 944 turbo... those a quick lil' fuckers, but if you're decently modded and a good driver, you could prolly keeep up with him if not beat him Mike...

You know.. I haven't ever driven the 951... but I have driven a 944... was actually given the choice to get that or the Stealth... but I thought it was quite a bit slow to be a Porsche

I am pretty sure if it were just a 944 with a/b 60hp more... I think I could run it... It might be close, but I don't feel it would surpass me... then again, I was driving an ATX 944... so who knows..

^ yea, those porsche 951T's with a M/T are decent from what I hear, but the 944 was mainly made for handling. Also, from what I hear the 944 ATXs are dogs.
