It will be fine as long as you give it some time to cool down. It all depends on how hard you’ve driven it too. The harder you drive it, the longer you need to give it. I had a turbo timer installed for pure convenience so that I can turn off the engine as soon as I get to where I’m going. My husband doesn’t have one, he just times it for about 30 seconds to a minute and then turns the engine off. It all depends on whether you want to spend the extra money for convenience or not.

Mine was installed at the place that I bought it and then hooked up to my alarm. I’ve found it well worth the money as I am a bit impatient when it comes to waiting , so being able to turn my car off as soon as I arrive is great.

Installation was free. Part of the service that the place I bought it from offered. I don't think they take very long to install though.
