I would like to trash my abs system, can it be done?

I want to ripe out the abs system and replace with non abs master cly. Can it by done and has anyone done it?

I figure the damn light can just stay on. Keep rear sensor for speed control only.

if you want to rerun the lines it can be done but its illegal to alter any brake system

There is no inspection here, I'm tired of the sensor problems.

Would I have to swap all the lines or just the ones going between master cyl and abs garbage thing. I have a tubing bender so I won't kink lines.

Inspection doesn't matter. If you alter the ABS system and have an accident,, an attorney will have a field day on the case. Just my 2 cents.

The damn ABS caused my first and last fender bender, in my last vehicle. Damn things actuated on dry level pavement at about 45 mph!!!!

I could have stopped with no problem without them.

Unplug Abs in he front sensor that should shut it down. I had the same thing happen to my 97.

I'm no fan of abs. Can't you unplug the fuse for it?
