Making Airscoop ( Just sharing )

I have a simple way to make a nice airscoop so i think i will share with you guys.

take a piece of styrene sheet and draw the shape as in mine

next cut them out... make sure u bend the end on the bigger part down a bit and the two smaller pieces bend them a little to the inside.

after thAT glue the parts together and make sure you glued the sides under the bigger piece. or the smaller pieces at the side of the bigger part

get some putty. i am using poly putty and fill them

wait for them to dry and then sand them smooth and sprayed primer and the desire color.
you are done !!!!

Here are some photos. The airscoop is universal. Adjust the size to fix to your car.
On the Mustang

On the Civic

On the Buggati Eb110

i am doing it in a rush so the quality is not good

Re: Making Airscoop ( Just sharing )

um....is that to catch air and slow down car?
i think it would be better if you threw some masking tape on it, preferably red tape to match the putty

i think you miss a line in the posting. i mentioned, when the putty is dried, sand it to make it smooth

you should do that then! basically what im getting at is... maybe you should refine your modelling skills before giving others suggestions on how to do things. there are plenty of post on this forum on this subject.
