the stock radio

hey guyz and galz wuts up..man i have a little problem and i hope someone here can help me a little bit...my woman has a 98 eclipse the radio doesnt work it has power and every thing it just needs some code maybe some one out there could help me...

You have to go to a mitsu dealer with prof of onership of vehicle and vin # then they will give you a code for youe radio. You might be able to do it over the phone but not sure , you're better of going there with the car.

Actually, I think they need a serial number on the top of the cd player unit. You have to take the damn thing out to see it. I just said F it and got an aftremarket headunit. Looks much better lol.

yeah got aftermarket becuase the stock radio will be soon to fail.

Why do you say its going to fail soon? Just because you have to put the code in dosn't mean theres anything wrong with it or that it isn't going to last very long after.

Actually the stock radios are very reliable. me next door neighbor has a 91 Talon TSI FWD nad the stock radio still work in it.
