In search of:.....

[joke]
A completed model by GTMike. Most of you guys know him. Some of you know him in person. Has he ever actually completed a kit ever? I see this excellent scratchbuilding thread he has going on there for a few years. He definately has tallent. But has he ever done a model kit? I did try the horrible search feature we now have. But was unable to find anything of the limited responses out-of his 200k plus posts. Have you Mike? Even a snap kit?[/joke]

Re: In search of:.....

...best thread ever.

I have never...ever completed a model, or dry assembled. Im working on my very first model to be built, instead of body modded. It should be interesting, its a box stock Porsche GT3. Working on it with some of the ACME guys over at our buddies house.

Thanks for the kind remarks...but I have a lot to learn.

Re: In search of:.....

Well at least one of us held up their end of the deal and finished their box-stock GT3 recently

And then Eric blew our box-stock GT3's out of the water

Perhaps it's time to break out the Black Force? It can be finished faster than the GT3.

lol, that is awesome! I can't beleive with the amount of talent he has that he has not actually completed something so simple. Maybe that's it, regular box kits just are not complicated enough. Are you some kind of Evil genius or something That is one hell of a feat to have so much time and detail involved in one build, it would probably just drive me crazy! you definetely have and have had my respect for some time!!

Re: In search of:.....

I built a model once. It was a snap-together Corvette Mako Shark that I built just to build, because I'm so anal-retentive that I can't ever finish anything if it isn't 'just right'. I bought a cheap Tamiya Lotus Super 7 last night in an effort to just build something quick, and then friggin' Amish fanny bandit Frank (Blubaja) tells me "cut off the fenders, it will look cool", so I do and now it needs hours of clean-up to get it to look right......

Someday I will finish one.
