PR4 vs PG7 WTF?

I painted this dudes bumper and he told me he could get me whatever I wanted from the junkyard/pick-a-part he works at. Anyways I asked for a PG7 and he gave me a PR4 so I just figured fuck it and plugged it in, but I really didn't notice any difference other than maybe in first and I am still revlimited at 7000? Anyways whats better, PG7/PR4, he said I could return it and he would get me the other one if I wanted.

Re: PR4 vs PG7 WTF?

PG7 revlimits at 7000... PR4 is 7200...

If your running the B18 PR4 is the correct ECU to run...

If your running the DOHC ZC, PG7 or PM7 it is... PR4 will run rich (its for a 1.8 your running it on a 1.6)...

BTW, either rev limit is fine and I wouldnt reccomend taking either engine any higher...
