Question question about billet grille

i just had a quick question about billet grilles..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...gOn/billet.jpg

i was VERY close to buying one the other day, but decided to hold off on it and i'm glad that i did.. it just struck me last night that if i were to install this billet grille on my 1997 explorer eddie bauer, there would be no way for me to reach in to unlatch the hood when i open it.. i've seen a lot of billet grilles installed on many different cars and SUVs, is there a common way around this? if so, how would i do that and what would i need to obtain in order to do so? thanks for your help..

Re: question about billet grille

if it is the type of mustang in the photo then u should be able to unlatch it.
if you pop the hood from the inside it should life a little bit. there should be enough clearence to put your fingers up there and move the latch. let me know if this will work for you

sorry, i had an idea that the picture would throw my question off.. i own a 1997 explorer eddie bauer and the picture was just because i couldn't find a picture of an (older) explorer with a billet grille installed.. the mustang was a picture from the same company i'm buying the grille from.. my explorer looks something like this

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...n/NoBillet.jpg

after i pop the hood, i unlatch it by reaching my hand in the top, 2nd to left hole.. i found a picture of a ford expedition with a billet grille installed

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...gOn/Billet.jpg

it looks like there would be no way i could reach in to unlatch it once i have the grille installed.. the hood pops up, but there's not enough room for me to reach the latch from where it's cracked open.. is there any way around this? thanks..
