Misfire on 2, 3 and 5

Hello,

I have a 200 ML for which the CEL comes on and off....Took it to Autozone and the reader shows misfire on 2, 3 and 5. Any ideas what could cause such thing? This occurs almost everytime we are driving the thing....the ride is very rough once the light comes on...lately it has been happening more often. So, you gurus, any ideas? BTW, I took the ML to the dealer and they said they could not do anything until they changed the spark plugs.....well, the S plugs were changed 2 weeks before the dealer visit....

Yes it did....that was the initial reason for changing the plugs...also changed was the MAF and the CPS...

Not much is coming to mind, maybe a bad coil pack? It seems when one goes out that the others will soon follow. That is something that you don't want to guess at since coil packs are pricey. I would just let the dealer change the plugs and go from there. They need to change the plugs because they need to rule out any simple fixes before they go spend any time diagnosing a problem.
