Farewell my fellow DSM'ers

Well, I am here to say thank you to you all (for all of your help) and that I love you all.

As of January 24, 2006 the Mitsubishi Eclipse RS is no longer mine...I know it was the bottom of the barrel model, but for a first car, it meant alot to me. I am already missing it and its immense speed. I sold that bad boy to a now new friend for $3500.

I soon hope that I might have the chance to buy another DSM but this time AWD!

For now I am going to stick with the Cool Cav (2002 Chevy Cavlier) and save up to buy a 1999-2004 Mustang GT.

Once more Thank You all very much for your time and help!!!

I think I could have but there were some minor problems with the car, but its all good. Broken speedo, therefore inaccurate milage...worn motor mount...and other little minor things.

LOL...why do you say you will be "soooooooo happy"? What is wrong with car now?

Mexrocket-
I was actually thinking that if a 95ish BMW M3 pops up for a good price, I will definitly hop on that

It really sucks driving around a auto cavalier...not the the most manly car out there.....but still gets the job done

Re: Farewell my fellow DSM'ers

Yeah, Cavy's suck . Due to college I think it will end up staying with me while a 1g AWD gets a storage unit somewhere near campus. As long as I dont have a picky roommate, I might get the engine built in my dorm . Anyway, congrats on the sale, I hope you find a sweet car. My two cents: including the cost of a car, 30k could build you one monster DSM or a mere 400hp Mustang, is there even an arguement? Just playing (definacy) .

The 99-04 GT is a great car. Okay on gas, but just a good ride all together.

Now the m3, While I love bmw's, they are expensive as hell to fix if they break. And real expensive to mod.

In a price breakdown.

Man, I love my cavalier, despite the fact that it is a cavalier....let me tell you something, that car dominates...one time me and my friends where going mudding, I was just bringing the cavalier to the meeting place and then I was going to ride in my friends Toyota Tacoma 4x4...well when we got there I was feeling a bit stupid so I decided to take the cavalier through the mud before any of the other trucks had gone through them first (therefore I didnt even know how bad the ruts where and how soft the mud was)...SO I picked up some speed went flying through the mud, I made it through but then again I probably just hydroplaned over it, lol. The ironic thing about the whole day was that my friends jacked up 4x4 Tacoma (with locking front differential - his car will haul ass) was too scared to go through the same mud trail that I went through, his excuse was that his truck isnt paid off yet and he cant risk breaking anything...which is understandable......I think I maybe pushed the cavalier to its limits that day.
