Re: Problem with the flasher

First of all, I'd like to say that this side is great! I just got done replacing the flasher for my turn signals which only cost about $9!(the dealership wanted $92 just for the diagnostic).

To get to the specifics on the location, I first removed the lower trim below the steering column. Then, I removed plastic piece that is right above the steering column that extends to cover the radio. This reveals to hex bolts that secure the trim that hides the main portion of the wiring. Remove the two bolts and the trim. Now you can see all the wiring going on as well as top of the fuse box. To the right of the steering column, you'll see an aluminum cylinder held lightly in place by a clamp. That's the hazard flasher. The turn flasher is on the other side of the column but is harder to see. I fished for the flasher carefully out of its holder and replaced. Hope this helps.
