Iptv
does anyone know much about this. i am hearing that instead of using comcast (my only cable option), i might be able to get tv off the internet.
can someone point me in the right direction?

i dont know a whole lot about it, apart from that it is still very limited as to where you live, but you will still need an internet connection

sounds like it will be a viable option to just having comcast in the near future. anything is better than letting them be a monopoly.

IP TV is similar to VoIP on the telephone. It's a new technology delivering TV via the TCP/IP protocol that the internet and most networks use. As it is still very, very new expect the costs to be high and a lot of errors/bugs in the system, if it's available at all.
