I have some M3 mirrors I want to put on my '92 RS (manually adjustable) and they don't look that hard to put on but I'm not sure how to get my old ones off. I figure I need to take the mirror apart from the inside of the door but do I have to take the door pad off or is there another way to get them off?

Re: Mirror Install on '92 RS
I just replaced my mirrors (powered) and I had to take the door panels off to get to the wiring. But since you have manual mirrors, I don't think you should have to remove the panels.

Re: Mirror Install on '92 RS
Okay, getting the mirrors off turned out to be really easy the inside cover just snaps off. Now I need to figure out how to get the adjustment assembly out of the mirror to use on my new ones. I was playing around with it for a while but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to take it out and I didn't want to pry on anything too hard because I don't want to break it... Any idea's? someone has to of done it. I know the civics and CRX's have or at least had the same mirrors if anyone here ever changed the mirrors on one of those?

Re: Mirror Install on '92 RS
Okay, is there anyone there that can help me figure this out or at least point me to a site that will give me instructions for it? It would be nice to be able to adjust my mirrors without sticking my arm out the window once I put them on...
