Adding Factory Fog Lights
Does anyone know what might be involved in adding the factory fog lights. Our 05 didn't have this option. Is the wiring harness in place already? Can the factory FOG button be added to the dash? Are the mounting holes in place already? Would I be better off to just add aftermarket lights? Thanks for any info.

Re: Adding Factory Fog Lights
well id have to see a pic of the front of your car to be sure, but it sounds like you just have the base bumper, which to add the factory fog lights, you'll have to go buy a LS bumper for the holes for the fog lights, but I think the wiring should be there still anyway, I can double check with someone once they come online, but id say your best and cheapest option is going to just add aftermarket ones in the small holes that are in the base bumper, a number of people have done this.

Re: Adding Factory Fog Lights
well, I got some info, the wiring IS NOT THERE, you'ld have to buy a new harness for that part to add the fog lights, then you'ld ahve to buy the fog button and wire it in with a relay to work like factory. all that on top of buying a LS bumper and having that painted and put on. basically your looking at a lot of money, and yould be better off with aftermarket.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll start looking for a nice set of aftermarket lights.

I have seen people put some nice looking foglights in the holes that are there already, and it looked pretty nice.. but you need to make it flow. |
