G Tech Pro

Anyone used this yet? I saw it advertised on speed channel. You can get it for 200 bucks and it can tell you your quarter, eighth, and zero to sixty time. Also hp and tq and lateral g's. http://www.gtechpro.com/ theres a link to the site if anyone wants to go check out what they're selling.
Let me see what you think.

Re: G Tech Pro

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, I used it once and my 0-60 was something like 7 seconds in a 94 V6 camaro, then my friend used it a sec later and ran a 9 sec 0-60 in a 93 camaro. Its a little inacurate but all it does is plug in your cig lighter...

Re: G Tech Pro

I have one, but I haven't been able to check it's accuracy. According to Hot Rod Magazine, they are pretty accurate and measure real close to actual track timers. The problem is in programming them with your car's information: you really need to know the weight of the car with you in it to get accurate hp readings. It's fun to have one at night when you can see it best (and so can everybody else). Just knowing how many G's your pulling in each direction is interesting. I plan to use mine to test power differences in some bolt-ons I have. Mine is the $200 one that does not hook up to a laptop. With the nearest drag track 100 miles away, I like having it.
