They dont make turbo / supercharger kits for the lb1?

Ive been looking all over, ebay, google, everything and cant find any kits for the lb1, tons of stuff for the lt, and ls's but nothing for the lb
Is it possable to get a supercharger on an lb1? Would i have to rig something up, or do they have special kits for it like the ls and lt's?

Re: They dont make turbo / supercharger kits for the lb1?

Why not just say the 305 then? Atleast people would know WTH you're talking about, I've never heard of them referred to as the lb1. That would be like me calling my 3.4L the L32...

LG4=carbed 305
L69=HO 305
LO3=tbi 305
LB9=tpi 305
B2L/L98=tpi 350

Hey, I know I have mixed up codes myself. No need to bash the guy cause me confused a RPO number (not saying your bashing him but some of the responses seem a tad harsh.)

Re: They dont make turbo / supercharger kits for the lb1?

Well, to answer the supercharger question, if you have tpi 305, vortech does make a supercharger for the serpentine set-up (88-92). Whatever you can bolt up to the L98, will bolt up to the LB9. What alot of people do is a custom set-up, which can be costly or cheap. Depending on knowledge and skills.

You can get a blower for carbed motors... have to change your hood though.

No, I wasn't bashing him, just giving him a little shit. I just think it's funny to refer to my engine as the L32.

Re: They dont make turbo / supercharger kits for the lb1?

all you need is a chevy small block supercharger kit. I think that all you have to worry about it the year of the heads because they changed the bolt pattern i think. Other than that You may need to fab some ducting yourself. But it will bolt up
