Question Thermometer not working on 98 Grand Caravan

One morning on my way to work i looked up and noticed the thermometer was reading (OC). Is there a way to reset it to work. I thought about disconnecting the battery, but havent tried it yet. I like that little convenience of nowing what the temp is outside.

There is a temperature sensor behind the grille. It's black with a 2 wire hook-up. It will need replacing.

You could try pulling the IOD fuse in the power dist. center under the hood above the battery for a couple minutes and see if that helps otherwise it probably is the temp sensor .

OC stands for "open circut" try unplugging and cleaning the connection on the sensor behind the grill, with a little luck it just might be corrosion but if not the sensors are pretty cheap.

Good luck,
