Is it possible to swap out the original 3800 thats in the car for a little 4 cylinder just temporary until I get the 3800 back working.
I was just wondering if it was possible at all, if it isn't I'm going to be on the bus for a few months

Re: Engine Swap
Not without changing the ECM and the wiring. When you put in the donor motor, did you check to see if the service number on the old ecm was the same number as on your car? That might be why your new motor is running bad.

Re: Engine Swap
Actually I 4got about that and didn't check.
I think it'll be better if I just focus on getting my original 3800 back to normal and 4get about trying to swap in the 4cylinder. |
