Question 96 and 2000 coupe doors

I put on a pair of doors from a 1996 civic ex coupe on 2000 civic, the thing is everytime i push down on the door lock switch, the fuse for dome light/sunroof blows out? and the door wont lock. any idea what could be the cause?

Are you using the correct amperage rating for the fuse? Maybe try installing a higher amp fuse. I'm not really sure if thats it, but it's just a suggestion.
