Thumbs up 1995 z28 problem need guru

Hi my 95 z28 has been running great but just noticed today when starting it seems to have to turn over alot like need to leave key on start for about four to five seconds till it starts . I can hear the fuel pump prime but it almost seems like the fuel is not reaching the injectors also after it starts it runs great no problems no stalling or missing also so far can punch it without any fuel problems. Anyone have an idea?
Thanks

Your going to want to check fuel pressure and check to see that its holding pressure. Could also be a opti or coil on its way out.

Talking Re: 1995 z28 problem need guru

You know what I found out,I was checking my key resistor and it was worn down so I tried my other new key and it worked . I guess if the contacts wear down this can cause a problem . Thanks for your input . Also whats the procedure for replacing a water pump on one of these is the air pump connected to it , looks like one part of the air pump is bolted to the water pump.
