Unhappy extremely hard to steer

hi, i went through some snow as a shortcut and now it is extremely hard to turn. I had a few people look at it, they dont know what it is. i think there might be snow wedged somewhere? or else power steering line is broken? i have no clue, i dont know much about cars, im broke and dont have any money to go to a shop lol. 01 impala 3.4 engine, Please help!!!

See if the p/s is full then, see if any sno is wedged around the belts or pulleys that would cause the belt to slip, then look underneath for sno packed around the steering/underchassis. These are common sense basic observations any driver could and should be able to do.

You need to get this on a lift and look for a bent p/s line, does the pump make noise when turning to extremes, anyway this needs on site analysis by a mechanic, or someone who has a thorough understanding of the systems involved.
