My day

So if any of you have read my posts on my O2 sensor you know that I ran into a few problems but I finally got it today and its the right one! Cost like $125 but I needed it so I can't complain to much. Anyway so I'm at school and people are rolling in engines on a stand for us to do a tear down or timing belt or whatever it is we want. First they brought in a SHO motor which was pretty cool but then I see them rolling in an I4 motor and I got to looking at it from a distance and I relized what it was, a 4G63T. Its nothing special, just a 93 7 bolt that came off an automatic so it has the 13b on it but still the cool part is my teacher said he will let me tear that motor apart when ever I want to so I'll get the experence of building a 4G without worring about it having to run again lol. Then I got home and drove my car and found out the left rear wheel bearing went out so now I have to spend another $90 to fix that if its not one thing its another, but thats what happens when you drive a dsm

Re: My day

It fixed the problem that I was having but I still am getting fuel cut and it still has a problem above 5k but I'm almost positive its a boost leak and a fuel filter because when I was testing it, it almost sounded like I could hear the air rushing out somewhere so I'm going to pressure test the system and all that and hpfully pinpoint the problem

Re: My day

What a waist, Maclaron went to main stream so everyone could own one. If I ever get rich I'm going to try and get my hands on the 98 Mclaron.
