I'd stick with the JE pistons and Eagle rods and new rings. They are proven on the neon and have proven durable.

You are aware that there is more to turboing a car than just putting the turbo on, right?

Re: Turbo kit help

Yes I do know I have been researching this for a little while now. I was told that a eclipse turbo would work good on it b/c it spools fast. What do you think? I know I would need bigger injectors fuel pump all the lines of course the turbo im sure theres alot more things but I cant think of at the moment. Do you know a site that goes in depth with turboing a neon and all the stuff I would need to buy?

Well Hahn uses the Mitsubishi turbo because they say they are the best in the market, so I think your good.

This isn't in depth, but the post should help you with what you want to know. Also there is a book called Maximum Boost by Corky Bell that you might want to look at.

Looks good, but I would have a hard time buying a kit from an unknown source.

Did you read the post that I gave you the link to? It pretty much covers what you would need. All in all, you'd probably spend another $700-$1000. Turboing a car is not cheap if you do it right!

I have heard some good things about them, but for my money, if I had any, I'd go with Clutchmasters or Centerforce.

Modern has it for $460 and you would need a Stage 3!

You will be fine with the stage 3 for now and when you put the turbo on.
