Saturn vs CRX Si

I was heading to school today, and while im on the highway i see an all black crx si up ahead, with exhaust and i dont think anything else. I drive up next to him slowly, and try and peer thru the dark tint of his window. The guy is on the phone, but its a long ride, and I have time. I get in front of him and I watch as my speedometer starts to drop ever so slowly below the speed limit of 70. by 65 he has still not passed me, but I wait a little more. Finally he gets off the phone, and bring it up to about 75 giving me a quick glance as he passes.

as we pass the cars ahead and hit an open area in the 2 lane highway, i see him start to accelerate. I stay behind him to 85, and he switches lanes. I pull next to him and just wait, when all of a sudden he guns it at 80. He pulls a car ahead before i can downshift to 4th, and then I start pulling hard. For some reason he decides to try and get into my lane and put on the hazards, but as soon as he flipped them on I "blew" past him. By 95 i was 2 cars ahead and braked to let him catch up. He didn't feel like it tho, and stayed behind me until his exit came up.

A little while later I see a v6 mustang with pretty nice sounding dual exhaust and a decent body kit. I pull next to her and just stare until she downshifts, and gives it some gas. Theres a car in the way so I dont do anything, but i guess she thought i was gonna cut her off, so she floored it. I immediately changed lanes and went WOT, but had to stop almost instantly as I would have hit her butt. She didn't try and go again when it was clear, so I still dont have a full race with a stang yet

The honda and you okay match but the stang. you will see one day if you can own it or get owned....imo. None the less good take!

but the stang? huh? im guessing your saying it would beat me

from what ive seen, which was a 70-90 quickie i had with one earlier, i have it top end. Havent had a full one to find out, and i've never raced it from a dig

I saw a saleen SC for 21k and low miles, if i could find another but doubtful...

i like the sexy list! very sexy....keep us up-to-date on what you'll choose, i'd probably choose the saleen, i think i've seen too many mustangs on the road tho, the ls1 would be my second choice

I doubt ill see another saleen for so cheap again, the only other one around here ive seen was 55k for example with similar mileage. It was on one of the main drags tho, while the other one was out in the country.

id be very happy for any, but rank wise its 03 cobra, ws6, mach 1, z28, gt

The roush edition is phat........the saleen would be awsome........cobra is also nice.........and the WS6 is bad ass.........camaro ss is hot.........but out of all those it would be really tough........

GT probably the cheapest to buy. But if ya could get the LS1. And stock v6 stangs are dogs, the gearing just makes it beat itself.

Yeah the GT has def been the cheapest, followed by the z28.

hell yeah, nice thing is with small mods it yeilds great results too, not to mention great stock block and internals if u wanna up the boost.

^ haha i hope so. Im gonna have to get lucky and find one for a low 20s. I think it would be a fairly decent upgrade over a saturn
