Finished; another brick in the Wall; Revell trabant- kerrappy

Here she is, the most crappy kit in the world.

it's been finished for a week or two, but I didn't manage to get nice pics.

So here are some mediocre pics who don't show really well about the model, but hey, it's a nice diversion from cleanly built models!

On with the pics!

here s a little comparison pic of what was actually going on in germany at a time, carwise.

In the wall, and outside the wall!

Awesome, Oli! That's a really cool build and when you stick it with it's long lost Porsche cousin, you get a neat little history lesson.

hey, thanks for the nice comments!

I did the flat tyre, it was made of plastic and molded in one part with the rim.
I sanded a piece out and puttied it to look like a flat one, that's about it, I guess!

You built a really nice model, it looks really good to me.

And you know what? The model and the real car are made of the same materiel

Isn't the left side head light supposed to have a hole in it when the headlight assembly is gone?

Now build the wall!

That's not entirely true, Oli. You melted the plastic first and then you pressed it on a hard surface like a table, to create the flat tire. After that you sanded and puttied. You have to tell the whole story

P.S. I love what you did with both cars!

Great replica of an East German "piece of art". Real cardboard-aesthetics!
What happened to the drivers door?
