coil pack problem help

hi i need some help i have replaced the coil pack for 1 + 4 twice the car runs fine for a few hours and the coil goes i am not sure what is causing this to happen what else should i check or replace help

Welcome to AF!!

When you say it goes do you mean that it fails and the car won't run or it shorts out? There are two items that you need to check. The plug wires can cause a coil to go bad but they would have to be really bad to cause a coil to go out that fast. Second, the ignition module under the coil may be the problem. I would change the wires and the ignition module to see what happens. Try the wires first, cheapest then the ignition module.

Pull wires off ignition module while running and look to see if there is spark from the 2 bad ones. If no spark, change the ignition module because it is no good. Had same problem with mine.
