Engine Swap?
Hello All. I have a 1990 oldsmobile 88 vin c 3.8 engine, trans, & electrical system (car was totaled) and a friend of the family has a 1992 Bonnevile with a 3.8 as well (but I don't know the vin off the top of my head for the 1992 3.8, K or L comes to mind though).
I was wondering if any of you knew if the 1990 engine would swap easily into the 1992 bonneville? I assume that the electronics would have to be swapped over as well. The 92 bonnevile has a cracked rod and my friend doesn't feel like rebuilding the entire engine (it has 180k on it) and would really like my engine that only has 45K on it. Thanks for the advice -Eric
