My fuel gauge in my 1998 Integra GSR only goes up to 3/4 of a tank when I fill it up. I fill it up until fuel almost runs out. I've heard that there have been problems with this issue in other Integras. Anybody else have problems or have any ideas?

My guess would be it's a problem in the fuel sending unit or even in the fuel pump. Take it to an acura dealership to have them look at the whole fuel system or if you have access to pressure readings and everything else, then by all means, do it yourself.

My fuel gauge is the same way. But it only started when i put in my face gauges, when i did this i moved the needles(your really not suposed to do that But....) any way the fuel gauge is a pretty sensitive piece of equipment, did you move your needle at all? so any way its been like that for months, it dont hurt anything, its just anoying and dont let the dealership try to sell you a new gauge cluster there too expensive, and they should be able to fix it. if you do get it fixed let me know how much they charged.

I didn't touch it. I think it's the sending unit because sometimes it is fine and the next time I fill up it stops at 3/4. It's just really erratic. If I ever forget to set the trip odometer I'll probably end up running out of gas.
